Community Meeting

On Tuesday, August 23 at 4PM in the Mt. Ashland Room, there will be a community meeting to share information on the purchase of the SRS Room (back office where staff offices used to be located). The Capital Campaign has received sufficient pledges for the purchase of this space, which will be available for a variety of uses, including yoga classes and movies. The cost to purchase this space from Madeline Hill is $45K. Because this amount is below the threshold of 3% of the annual budget ($53.6K), our governing documents do not require us to obtain formal community approval for this use of pledged dollars. However, the purchase of the SRS space is an important action that the community should have the opportunity to understand, discuss and voice their opinion on. Plan to attend this meeting to learn more about this Capital Campaign project.
