Residents are invited to a meeting of all who are interested in planning group excursions for residents of Mountain Meadows on Wednesday, July 3 at 2PM in the Jefferson Room. An interest sheet has been posted in the folder on Donna's desk.
Many of the newer residents may not realize that for about 10 years we had a very active program of day trips to the many scenic beauties of our region, using the Skylark van. We had annual visits to Crater Lake, Wildlife Images, Hellgate Jet boat trips on the Rogue River, Mt Shasta, cheese, chocolates and wine with Dogs for the Deaf and/or the Crater Lake Rock Museum in the Central Point area and wine and sausage tasting in the Cave Junction area. Demand was so great we even had 2 to 3 Hellgate trips a year. If you can’t make this meeting, contact Celia Moss at 541-552-9496 to let her know where and when you’d like to go.
